Abstract: Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is an essential molecule found in all cells of the human body, being most abundantly concentrated in tissues of the heart, liver, brain and skeletal muscle. Its location in the inner mitochondrial membrane is of paramount importance, as CoQ10 plays a crucial role in the mitochondrial respiratory chain, where it acts as an essential coenzyme for energy production. Thus, the study aims to describe about Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10): Applicability of the therapeutic potential in the treatment of cardiac, neuromuscular and oxidative pathologies. This article proposes a literature review to discuss the clinical applicability of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), explore its potential benefits and investigate the possibility of its use in the treatment of various diseases. Therefore, the adopted methodology This article adopts the bibliographical review as a methodological basis, through the search and analysis of scientific articles published in digital magazines that address the topic of pharmacological applicability of Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10). Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) has proven to be a molecule of great relevance in the context of human health, playing an essential role in generating cellular energy and acting as a potent antioxidant. The literature review carried out in this study allowed exploring the clinical applicability of CoQ10 and investigating its potential benefits in the treatment of various diseases and syndromes.
