RESSOCIALIZAR E REINTEGRAR: DESAFIOS E PERSPECTIVAS DE UM RECOMEÇO.

As reflexões abordadas nesse artigo falam sobre ressocializar e reintegrar pessoas privadas de liberdade que precisam voltar ao convívio social, mas que ainda encontram muitas barreiras para ingressarem no mercado de trabalho, uma vez que, a sociedade por temer sua segurança, acabam negando a oportunidade de um novo recomeço. O texto analisa as propostas de reintegração social do cárcere para a vida em sociedade, verificando quais oportunidades ressocializadoras o cárcere oferece, atualmente, a pessoas privada de liberdade. A metodologia, desse estudo, decorre de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, traçando um diálogo com alguns autores como Foucault (1999), Lima (2012) e Mirabete (2006). A conclusão indica que as políticas ressocializadoras e reintegradoras precisam assistir além das instituições penais, uma vez que, a sociedade, ainda, é muito resistente quanto a acolher um ex-detento no mercado de trabalho, e que as parcerias entre Estado e empresas são extremamente importantes, assim como os trabalhos das ONGs, que acolhem e direcionam as pessoas que deixaram as unidades prisionais e querem um novo recomeço.

  • Abstract: The reflections addressed in this article talk about resocializing and reintegrating people deprived of liberty who need to return to social life, but who still encounter many barriers to entering the job market, since society, out of fear for their safety, ends up denying them the opportunity to a new beginning. The text analyzes proposals for social reintegration from prison to life in society, verifying which resocializing opportunities prison currently offers to people deprived of their liberty. The methodology of this study stems from a bibliographical research, tracing a dialogue with some authors such as Foucault (1999), Lima (2012) and Mirabete (2006). The conclusion indicates that resocializing and reintegrative policies need to go beyond penal institutions, since society is still very resistant to welcoming a former prisoner into the job market, and that partnerships between the State and companies are extremely important, as is the work of NGOs, which welcome and guide people who have left prison units and want a fresh start.
