RESPONSABILIDADE SOCIAL E DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL. AÇÕES QUE FIZERAM A DIFERENÇA NA COMPANHIA DOCAS DO PARÁ/PORTO DE SANTARÉM – PARÁ – AMAZÔNIA
O presente trabalho visa identificar e
apresentar os benefícios ambientais e sociais de
um dos programas sociais desenvolvidos pela
Companhia Docas do Pará – CDP em parceria
com a Fundação Esperança, denominado
Programa de Educação Ambiental para Todos
– PEAT. Este é um projeto desenvolvido no
Porto de Santarém, no município de Santarém/
PA, voltado para os funcionários, passageiros
do porto e comunidade circunvizinha. A
metodologia adotada para a realização desta
pesquisa consistiu em 2 etapas distintas:
na primeira etapa foi realizada a pesquisa
bibliográfica e documental com o objetivo de
alcançar informações gerais sobre a cidade
de Santarém e o referido Porto, bem como
análise dos Relatórios Anuais do Projeto
PEAT no período de 2009 a 2017. Na segunda
etapa foram tabulados todos os dados de
resultados alcançados com a implementação
dos programas do projeto, identificando os
benefícios promovidos pelo mesmo para o Porto
de Santarém e para a população de local. Com
este projeto visando a melhora da qualidade
de vida da população através da conservação
do meio ambiente, pôde-se comprovar por
meio dos relatórios anuais analisados que o
objetivo do programa vem sendo alcançado,
beneficiando o meio ambiente, o público
alvo do projeto, os estudantes e profissionais
responsáveis pela execução das atividades,
além da própria CDP, que vem crescendo e
sendo reconhecida por esse trabalho realizado.
O maior reconhecimento veio da Agência
Nacional de Transporte Aquaviário – ANTAQ,
que mostrou interesse nos resultados que
têm sido atingidos oferecendo auxílios para
a expansão do projeto tendendo aumentar a
população atingida pelo PEAT.

Abstract:
This paper aims to identify and present the environmental and social
benefits of one of the social programs developed by Companhia Docas do Pará - CDP in
partnership with Fundação Esperança, called Environmental Education for All Program
– PEAT. This is a project developed at the Port of Santarém, in the municipality of
Santarém/PA, aimed at employees, port passengers and surrounding community. The
methodology adopted for this research consisted of 2 distinct steps: In the first stage,
a bibliographic and documentary research was carried out in order to reach general
information about the city of Santarém and the referred port, as well as analysis of the
Annual Reports of the PEAT Project from 2009 to 2017. In the second stage, all results
data obtained with the implementation of the project programs were tabulated, identifying
the benefits promoted by it for the Port of Santarém and for the local population. With
this project aimed at improving the population's quality of life through conservation of
the environment, it was possible to prove through the annual reports analyzed that the
program objective has been achieved, benefiting the environment, the project's target
audience, the students and professionals responsible for carrying out the activities,
as well as the CDP itself, which has been growing and being recognized for this work.
The greatest recognition came from the National Waterway Transportation Agency -
ANTAQ, which showed interest in the results that have been achieved by offering aid
for the expansion of the project tending to increase the population affected by PEAT.
