Abstract: The looking for a harmonious smile is becoming more frequent, people are looking for dental aesthetic improvements and corrections in shape, position, alignment, symmetry and color. Dental aesthetics can be improved by several types of treatments. The transparent silicone and injectable resin technique appears in the clinical context as a conservative, fast, economical option that does not depend on professional skill. The technique is achieved through advancement and improvement in the mechanical and aesthetic properties of injectable (flow) resins, as well as the option of transparent silicones. This technique allows dental restorations to be carried out through a preliminary diagnostic wax-up followed by molding using transparent silicone and restoration through the injection of a flow resin through a hole created in the silicone. The objective of this work is to present an appropriate protocol for the technique, as well as discuss it based on the available literature on the subject.
