Abstract: This chapter describes the implementation of a socio-ecological monitoring system supported by geotechnologies for the Water and Forest Sanctuary of the San Lorenzo River Sub-Basin in the State of Mexico. Based on the Pressure-State-Impact-Response (PSIR) model, a geospatial database was structured to organize environmental and socioeconomic information under a single analytical framework. On this basis, a geospatial dashboard was developed to facilitate the visualization of indicators, enabling the identification of territorial patterns, the recognition of areas with higher levels of pressure, and the comparison of these with environmental conditions and the response actions implemented. This integration not only made it possible to consolidate scattered information but also to make sense of it within a territorial framework. The results show that the integration of the PEIR model, geographic information systems, and interactive visualization platforms contributes to a clearer understanding of the territory, facilitating continuous monitoring processes and supporting decision-making in contexts where socio-environmental dynamics are increasingly complex.
