Abstract: The objective of this study is to conduct an integrative literature review to investigate studies related to nursing team resilience in the face of oncology care for end-of-life patients. An integrative literature review was conducted to gather and synthesize research findings, aiming to deepen knowledge on the topic. The search was conducted in March 2025 in the following databases: Virtual Health Library (VHL), PubMed/Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE), EMBASE, SCOPUS, Web of Science, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR), and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL). Inclusion criteria were original articles available in full text in Portuguese, English, or Spanish. Exclusion criteria included theses, dissertations, monographs, editorials, as well as duplicate articles and those that did not answer the study question. The search strategy yielded 57 articles, published between 2005 and 2025 (the last 20 years). Of these, eight articles covering the study theme were selected. The results demonstrate that the resilience of nursing professionals working in palliative oncology and end-of-life care has been studied, as has the implementation of tools and actions for their development in the workplace. However, more attention is still needed to the well-being of these professionals, who can be significantly affected emotionally by workplace stressors. Improvement strategies include offering advanced training courses, programs to help manage stressful situations, incentives for professional advancement, leadership incentives, and cultural and religious approaches. By developing individual and collective resilience, professionals can overcome challenges, promote their emotional well-being, and provide quality care, contributing to the continuous improvement of health services.
