RESGATANDO CONCEITOS MATEMÁTICOS: UM PROJETO DE PERMANÊNCIA E ÊXITO NO ÂMBITO DO INSTITUTO FEDERAL FARROUPILHA

Projeto de Ensino: Resgatando Conceitos
Matemáticos; desenvolvido com os alunos
do 1º Ano do Ensino Médio do Instituto
Federal Farroupilha- Campus Frederico
Westphalen. A ação teve como objetivo
propor um acompanhamento aos alunos que
apresentam dificuldades de aprendizagem na
disciplina de Matemática, especialmente no
que se refere a conceitos básicos do Ensino
Fundamental. Trata-se de uma necessidade
institucional que visa à permanência e o êxito
a partir da superação de dificuldades a fim de
permitir que o estudante avance no itinerário
formativo de seu curso com aproveitamento
satisfatório. O projeto aconteceu no início
de 2018, contando com a participação de 93
alunos e 6 professores. Resgatamos conceitos
relacionados às quatro operações básicas;
frações, expressões numéricas e equações
lineares. Os resultados quantitativos mostram
que 67% dos alunos participantes progrediram
em relação às atividades iniciais. Os resultados
qualitativos nos permitem garantir que o projeto
foi uma oportunidade de conhecer os alunos
em suas potencialidades e dificuldades e assim
traçar ações para a melhoria da aprendizagem
que serão desenvolvidas ao longo do período
letivo

Abstract:
This production is motivated by
the Teaching Project: Rescuing Mathematical
Concepts; developed with students from first
year of High School of the Federal Institute
Farroupilha - Campus Frederico Westphalen.
The action purpose was to propose a follow-up
to the students who present learning difficulties
in Mathematics, especially with regard to
basic concepts of Elementary School. It is an
institutional need that aims at permanence and
success from overcoming difficulties in order to
allow the student to advance in the formative
course of his course with satisfactory use. The
project happened in early 2018, with participation
of 93 students and 6 teachers. Concepts related to the four basic operations; fractions, numerical expressions and linear equations
were rescued. The quantitative results show that 67% of the participating students
progressed in relation to the initial activities. The qualitative results allow us to guarantee
that the project was an opportunity to get to know the students in their potentialities and
difficulties and to outline actions for the improvement of learning that will be developed
throughout the school period.
