REPRESENTAÇÕES DO MAL EM REESCRITAS EVANGÉLICAS DE SEAN MURPHY E STEVE ROSS
O mal na literatura tem sido abordado sob as mais variadas perspectivas. Na contemporaneidade, gêneros literários recentes, como os romances gráficos, elaboram representações peculiares do mal em suas narrativas, como podemos observar nas obras Marked, de Steve Ross, e Punk Rock Jesus, de Sean Murphy, que reescrevem a história de Jesus enfatizando a presença do mal tanto no plano diegético, como sob uma perspectiva imagética, que reforçam sobremaneira a ocorrência de ações malévolas e suas consequências.

Abstract:
Evil in literature has been approached from several perspectives. In contemporary times, recent literary genres, such as graphic novels, elaborate peculiar representations of evil in their narratives, as we can see in Marked, by Steve Ross, and Punk Rock Jesus, by Sean Murphy, which rewrite the story of Jesus emphasizing the presence of evil both on the diegetic level and from an imagery perspective, which greatly reinforces the occurrence of evil actions and their consequences.
