Abstract: The study of human anatomy is effective with the use of images, illustrations, photographs and graphic representations of the human body. Therefore, the objective of this work was to report a case of construction of illustrations based on the practical study guide in human anatomy. To this end, content selection and a scientific search for the anatomical structures to be characterized were carried out. Drawings were made freehand, in different views and anatomical sections, allowing the identification of structures and visualization during practical classes. Therefore, audiovisual teaching material acts as a learning facilitator, valuing the student's previous skills and encouraging the continuous search for knowledge. It can be concluded that auxiliary active methodologies are essential in encouraging and contributing to the student's training, providing a transformative and quality education.
