REPERTÓRIO HISTÓRICO LINGUÍSTICO DO FUTEBOL BRASILEIRO E PORTUGUÊS
O futebol constitui-se como um veículo para uma série de representações da sociedade brasileira, permitindo a expressão e a vivência de problemas nacionais. Ele transcende sua qualidade esportiva, criando relações sociais e identidades, bem como representa um forte universo simbólico. Dessa forma, pode ser visto como um universo com diversas instâncias e espaços que passaram a empregar todo um repertório linguístico próprio, que passou por mudanças e sofreu influências ao longo do tempo, o que ocorreu também devido aos fenômenos de alterações linguísticas, responsáveis por distanciar a Língua Portuguesa praticada no Brasil da Língua Portuguesa de Portugal. Este artigo tem por objetivo abordar as alterações linguísticas ocorridas nos termos utilizados no universo do futebol no Brasil, suas motivações e posicionamentos críticos sobre o assunto, bem como as variações encontradas entre as expressões da área utilizadas aqui e em Portugal, mesmo em se tratando de dois países falantes de Língua Portuguesa. Como metodologia, foi adotada revisão bibliográfica, com uma avaliação crítica na literatura existente em livros referentes à esfera cultural do futebol, em revistas cientificas e em teses de doutorado e dissertações de mestrado.

Abstract:
Soccer is a vehicle for a series of representations of Brazilian society, allowing the expression and experience of national problems. It transcends its sporting quality, creating social relationships and identities, as well as representing a strong symbolic universe. In this way, it constitutes a universe with different instances and spaces that started to employ an entire linguistic repertoire of its own, passing through changes and suffering influences over time, which also occurs due to the phenomena of linguistic changes, responsible for distancing the Portuguese Language practiced in Brazil of the Portuguese Language of Portugal. This article aims to address the linguistic changes occurring in the terms used in the Brazilian soccer universe, their motivations and critical positions on the subject, as well as the variations found between the expressions of the area used here and in Portugal, even when dealing with two Portuguese-speaking countries. As a methodology, a bibliographical review was adopted, with a critical evaluation in the literature in books related to the cultural sphere of football, in scientific journals and in doctoral theses and master's dissertations.
