Abstract: This study examines the repercussions of work development for adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in organizational environments, focusing on Organizational and Work Psychology (OWP). Through a narrative review of 11 articles published between 2019 and 2025, findings indicate that ADHD symptoms — inattention, impulsivity, and executive dysfunction — lead to workplace challenges such as interpersonal conflicts, reduced productivity, and occupational stress. However, inclusive practices, including environmental adjustments, flexible schedules, and assistive technologies, showed potential to harness ADHD traits as strengths (e.g., creativity and hyperfocus). Critical analysis highlighted gaps in the literature, particularly in Brazil, where organizational rigidity and lack of tailored policies hinder inclusion. The study concludes that OWP can bridge this gap by fostering adaptive cultures and trained leadership, though further research is needed to evaluate long-term outcomes of these interventions.
