Repercussões da Covid-19 na saúde mental de profissionais de enfermagem de terapia intensiva: revisão integrativa.

• Abstract: Objective: to evaluate the scientific evidence about the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on the mental health of nursing professionals working in adult intensive care units. Method: integrative review, developed from August to September 2022. Searches carried out in the LILACS, BDENF and MEDLINE databases. Sample consisting of 21 articles. Descriptive and content data analysis was carried out. Results: the repercussions were separated into two summary categories: Prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety and burnout syndrome in the nursing team; and, Feelings that had an impact on the mental health of nursing professionals. Conclusion: the mental health of nursing professionals was compromised by the repercussions of Covid-19. Similarities were observed in illness and mental feelings in different countries. The identification of such repercussions can serve as support for institutions to implement measures and strategies that minimize the negative impacts of the pandemic experienced by nursing professionals.
