RENDIMENTO CORPORAL DE CYPHOCHARAX VOGA
A espécie Cyphocharax voga tem
grande ocorrência em lagoas costeiras da
América Sul e no estado do Rio Grande do
Sul. É uma espécie de pequeno porte, com
baixo ou nenhum valor comercial, sendo
capturados de forma incidental junto aos
peixes de importância econômica. Estudos
relacionados aos rendimentos obtidos do
peixe é de importância econômica tanto para
indústrias de processamento de pescado
quanto para os pescadores. Sendo assim, o
presente trabalho teve como objetivo obter
o rendimento da espécie Cyphocharax voga
em 2 locais (Lagoa Mangueira e Canal São
Gonçalo), para verificar seu potencial para uma
possível aceitação no mercado consumidor. Os
peixes foram encaminhados ao laboratório para
serem processados. Nas biometrias obteve-se
o comprimento total (CT) em centímetros, peso
total (PT), peso do filé (PF) e peso do tronco
limpo (PTL) em gramas. Para obtenção do
rendimento de filé (RF) e rendimento de tronco
limpo (RTL) foram utilizadas as seguintes
equações, respectivamente: RF=PF/PT*100 e
RTL=PTL/PT*100. Após obter os resultados de rendimento foi calculado a média e o
desvio padrão, a análise estatística foi feita pelo programa BioEstat 5.0, comparando
os resultados dos locais onde foram feitas as coletas. Apresentou (RF) de 35,32% e
37,32% e (RTL) de 47,57% e 47,23% no Canal São Gonçalo e Lagoa Mangueira,
respectivamente. Pode-se observar que não houve diferença significativa em
nenhuma variável e que a espécie tem potencial para comercialização, apresentando
rendimentos semelhantes aos de espécies comerciais.

Abstract:
The species Cyphocharax voga has great occurrence in coastal lagoons
of South America and in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It is a small species, with little
or no commercial value, being captured incidentally with fish of economic importance.
Studies related to fish yields are of economic importance both for fish processing
industries and for fishermen. Therefore, the present work aimed to obtain the yield of
the species Cyphocharax voga in two locations (Mangueira lagoon and São Gonçalo
Channel) to verify its potential for a possible acceptance in the consumer market. The
fish were sent to the laboratory for processing. In the biometrics, the total length (CT) in
centimeters, total weight (PT), fillet weight (PF) and clean torso weight (PTL) in grams
were obtained. To obtain fillet (RF) yield and clean trunk yield (RTL), the following
equations were used, respectively: RF = PF / PT * 100 and RTL = PTL / PT * 100. After
obtaining the yield results the mean and the standard deviation were calculated, the
statistical analysis was done by the program BioEstat 5.0, comparing the results of
the places where the collections were made. It presented (RF) of 35.32% and 37.32%
and (RTL) of 47.57% and 47.23% in the São Gonçalo Channel and Mangueira lagoon,
respectively. It can be observed that there was no significant difference in any variable
and that the species has potential for commercialization, presenting yields similar to
those of commercial species.
