Remanescentes de Mata Atlântica do Agreste Pernambucano: composição florística, endemismo e espécies ameaçadas de extinção
Os remanescentes de Mata Atlântica vêm passando por diversas fases de conversão da vegetação nativa para usos do solo de maior interesse econômico. Entretanto, persiste a grande diversidade biológica do bioma, estando a Mata Atlântica entre os maiores repositórios de biodiversidade do planeta e com os mais altos níveis de endemismo. Em São Vicente Férrer (Pernambuco - BR) os dados referentes à flora de Mata Atlântica mostram que os remanescentes do município apresentam um conjunto florístico peculiar, diferenciado das demais florestas pernambucanas. O estudo objetivou realizar um levantamento de informações da Mata Atlântica pernambucana, em especial dos remanescestes do município de São Vicente Férrer. Realizou-se uma revisão da literatura com informações sobre a composição florística, o endemismo e as espécies ameaçadas de extinção no município. Os resultados apontaram a importância na conservação dos remanescentes de Mata Atlântica de São Vicente Férrer, não somente em nível local, mas considerando todo o agreste pernambucano e território brasileiro. Conclui-se que, apesar desses estudos, aparentemente, não existem publicações que abordem o ponto de vista territorial da conservação desses remanescentes, havendo a necessidade de novos estudos com essa abordagem.

Abstract:
The remnants of Atlantic Forest have been going through several phases of conversion of native vegetation to land uses of greater economic interest. However, the great biological diversity of the biome persists, with the Atlantic Forest being among the largest repositories of biodiversity on the planet and with the highest levels of endemism. In São Vicente Férrer (Pernambuco - BR), data on Atlantic Forest flora show that the remnants of the municipality have a peculiar floristic set, differentiated from the other Pernambuco forests. This study aimed to carry out a survey of information from the Atlantic Forest of Pernambuco, especially from the remains of the municipality of São Vicente Férrer. A review of the literature of the most diverse areas was carried out, bringing information of floristic composition, endemism, and species threats of extinction of the municipality. The results pointed out the importance in the conservation of the remnants of the Atlantic Forest of São Vicente Férrer, not only at the local level, but for all the wild Pernambuco and Brazilian territory. It is concluded that, despite these studies, there are no publications that address this from the territorial point of view the conservation of these remnants, and there is a need for further studies with this approach.
