Remanecência de Residências Históricas de Várzea Grande, Mato Grosso
Este trabalho apresenta o levantamento sobre as residências antigas que ainda existem na cidade de Várzea Grande. O trabalho descreve brevemente a história da cidade, para que se possa entender a origem e sua arquitetura. O artigo apresenta dois levantamentos de residências distintas, uma delas abandonada e a outra preservada, no sentido de observar a arquitetura de linguagem do século XIX que elas possuem, mesmo sendo todas do início do século XX. Para isso foram feitas análises de cada uma, com informações sobre as casas e as suas técnicas e materiais construtivos, com a intenção também de mostrar a importância da preservação e conservação do patrimônio histórico, e que a cidade possui uma história e arquitetura que poucos conhecem, visto que Várzea Grande, com seus 151, anos não possui uma política de preservação e nem um centro histórico reconhecido.

Abstract:
This work presents a survey of the old residences that still exist in the city of Várzea Grande. The work briefly describes the history of the city, so that one can understand the origin and its architecture. The article presents two surveys of different residences, one abandoned and the other preserved, in order to observe the language architecture of the 19th century that they have, even though they are all from the beginning of the 20th century. For that, analyzes of each one were made, with information about the houses and their techniques and construction materials, with the intention also of showing the importance of preservation and conservation of the historical heritage, and that the city has a history and architecture that few know about , since Várzea Grande, aged 151, does not have a preservation policy or a recognized historic center.
