RELIGIÃO E EDUCAÇÃO: OS PRINCÍPIOS RELIGIOSOS NO ENSINO PÚBLICO
A temática escolhida para esta pesquisa gira em torno da presença dos princípios religiosos na educação pública em vista da vida social à luz das concepções do Fórum Nacional Permanente do Ensino Religioso (FONAPER) e teorias filosófico - teológicas, tendo como corpus a opinião pública de sujeitos envolvidos em assuntos educacionais. Sendo assim, visa discorrer sobre o ensino religioso na educação pública conhecido como Ensino Religioso Escolar nos seguintes aspectos: concepções atuais sobre este tema, opinião pública, sobretudo a de sujeitos diretamente ligados ao processo educacional, histórico de fundamentos do tema e propostas existentes para esta prática pedagógica bem como discussões a respeito do valor curricular desta disciplina diante da polêmica levantada pela inserção dela no curriculum, tendo em vista a natureza do Estado e a realidade sócio-política.

Abstract:
The theme chosen for this research revolves around the presence of religious principles in public education in view of social life following the concepts of the Permanent National Forum of Religious Education (FONAPER) and philosophical - theological theories, having as corpus the public opinion of subjects involved in educational issues. Thus, it aims to discuss religious teaching in public education known as Scholar Religious Teaching in the following aspects: current conceptions on this topic, public opinion, especially that of subjects directly linked to the educational process, history of the fundamentals of the theme and existing proposals for this practice as well as discussions about the curricular value of this discipline in the face of the controversy raised by the insertion of it in the curriculum, considering the nature of the State and the socio-political reality.
