Relato de experiência quanto ao Projeto de Extensão: “A representação fotográfica como reflexo do imaginário social dos centros urbanos.”
A finalidade dos Projetos de Extensão é promover a cidadania, percebendo que ensino, pesquisa e extensão são atividades indissociáveis. Conjuntas produzem ações colaborativas para o desenvolvimento cidadão e profissional do estudante e trazem transformações da realidade no processo ensino-aprendizagem. Metodologias ativas têm sido utilizadas para tornar o aluno um agente multicultural para causas coletivas no meio em que vive. Dentre as metodologias ativas a fotografia tem despontado como auxiliar das ciências em seu esforço para melhor apreensão da realidade. O ato de fotografar e a experiência com a imagem fotográfica pode ser diferenciada, pois clama pelo olhar, solicita que os olhos nela permaneçam, por testemunhar, ser traço do real. O objetivo deste estudo foi relatar a experiência dos alunos quanto ao Projeto de Extensão: “A representação fotográfica como reflexo do imaginário social dos centros urbanos.” A coleta da experiência vivida quanto ao projeto se deu por meio de uma entrevista estruturada gravada. Fez-se transcrição dos relatos e suas análises à luz da literatura pregressa. Verificou-se mudança no olhar dos alunos quanto o imaginário social dos centros urbanos.

Abstract:
The purpose of the Extension Projects is to promote citizenship, realizing that teaching, research and extension are inseparable activities. Together they produce collaborative actions for the citizen and professional development of the student and bring changes to reality in the teaching-learning process. Active methodologies have been used to make the student a multicultural agent for collective causes in the environment in which they live. Among the active methodologies, photography has emerged as an aid to science in its effort to better grasp reality. The act of photographing and the experience with the photographic image can be differentiated, as it calls for the look, asks that the eyes remain in it, for witnessing, to be a trace of reality. The aim of this study was to report the students' experience regarding the Extension Project: "The photographic representation as a reflection of the social imaginary of urban centers." The experience of the project was collected through a structured recorded interview. The reports and their analyzes were transcribed in the light of previous literature. There was a change in the view of students regarding the social imaginary of urban centers.
