RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA: DESAFIOS E OPORTUNIDADES NA MONITORIA DE QUÍMICA GERAL NO PROCESSO ENSINOAPRENDIZAGEM DOS ACADÊMICOS DE ENGENHARIA DE ENERGIA
A disciplina de química geral ofertada na Engenharia de Energia da Universidade Federal de Alagoas - UFAL é fundamental para o decorrer do curso.. Este trabalho teve como objetivo relatar a experiência na monitoria da disciplina de química geral no primeiro semestre de 2019, apresentando os desafios e oportunidades que o programa proporciona, como: incentivo a cooperação do monitor com o corpo docente e discente; colaboração na capacidade crítica; incentivo ao estudante a se aprofundar em conhecimentos teóricos e práticos da disciplina. O planejamento inicial se deu em uma reunião dos monitores com a professora orientadora, para tratar do cronograma de atividades de laboratório, as tarefas de atuação a serem desenvolvidas. Foi observado que surgiram diversas dúvidas em virtude da falta de conhecimento de conceitos básicos, proporcionada pela formação básica deficiente. Em virtude da experiência relatada, conclui-se que a participação de um ex-aluno da disciplina pode contribuir no desenvolvimento do aluno, despertando no monitor o desejo pela docência, além de vivenciar o processo ensino-aprendizagem em todas suas fases, desde seu planejamento a execução, amadurecendo e desenvolvendo de forma integral, holística e humanística, as competências e habilidades do acadêmico para futura carreira profissional.

Abstract:
The general chemistry course offered at the Federal University of Alagoas - UFAL is fundamental for the course. This work aimed to report the experience in monitoring the discipline of general chemistry in the first half of 2019, presenting the challenges and opportunities that the program provides, such as: encouraging the cooperation of the monitor with the faculty and student; collaboration in critical capacity; encouraging the student to deepen in theoretical and practical knowledge of the discipline. The initial planning took place in a meeting of the monitors with the instructor, to deal with the schedule of laboratory activities, the tasks to be developed. It was observed that several doubts arose due to the lack of knowledge of basic concepts, provided by the deficient basic education. Due to the experience reported, it was concluded that the participation of an ex-student in the discipline can contribute to the development of the student, awakening in the monitor the desire for teaching, besides experiencing the teaching-learning process in all its phases, from its planning to execution, maturing and developing in an integral, holistic and humanistic way, the skills and abilities of the academic for future professional career.
