RELATO DE CASO: A IMPORTÂNCIA DA REDUÇÃO DA SUTURA ESFENOZIGOMÁTICA EM FRATURA DO COMPLEXO ZIGOMÁTICO
O objetivo deste trabalho é relatar um caso de fratura isolada do complexo zigomático, demonstrando a importância da redução da sutura esfenozigomática com o auxílio de uma fixação estável e reconstrução adequada da órbita na tentativa de atingir resultados mais previsíveis e diminuir as complicações pós-operatórias. É apresentado um caso de fratura de complexo zigomático associado a fratura do assoalho orbital tratados cirurgicamente com fixação em dois pontos e reconstrução orbitária.

Abstract:
The objective of this article is report the case of isolated fracture of the zygomatic complex, highlighting the importance of reduction of the sphenozygomatic suture with the aid of stable fixation e proper orbit reconstruction in an attempt to achieve more predictable results and decrease postoperative complications. The case presented a fracture of the zygomatic complex associated with fracture of the orbital floor treated surgically with two-points of fixation and orbital reconstruction.
