RELAÇÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS: BREVE INCURSÃO SOBRE A LEI Nº 10.639/2003 E SEUS DESDOBRAMENTOS NOS DISCURSOS DE DOCUMENTOS OFICIAIS
Esse estudo é parte integrante do Projeto de Iniciação Científica “Lei nº 10.639/03: Um estudo sobre a implementação em escolas da rede pública de Educação Básica do entorno dos manguezais da Reserva Extrativista Caeté-Taperaçu (Resex-Mar) em Bragança/PA”. O objetivo é apresentar uma breve análise sobre a Lei nº 10.639/2003, Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais e para o Ensino de História e Cultura Afro-Brasileira e Africana, Estatuto da Igualdade Racial, Política Nacional de Promoção da Igualdade Racial e Plano Nacional de Implementação das Diretrizes. O estudo é uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo de caráter bibliográfico e documental. A partir do levantamento bibliográfico e da análise dos documentos concluímos que a legislação antirracista é fundamental para o enfrentamento efetivo do racismo, no entanto, precisa ser apresentada e discutida junto aos professores e comunidade escolar para que haja um movimento, de fato, coletivo.

Abstract:
This study is part of the Scientific Initiation Project “Law No. 10,639 / 03: A study on the implementation in schools of the public basic education network around the mangroves of the Caeté-Taperaçu Extractive Reserve (Resex-Mar) in Bragança / PAN". The aim is to present a brief analysis of Law No. 10,639 / 2003, National Curriculum Guidelines for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and for the Teaching of African-Brazilian and African History and Culture, Racial Equality Statute, National Policy for the Promotion of Racial Equality and National Plan for Implementation of the Guidelines. The study is a qualitative research of bibliographic and documentary character. From the bibliographic survey and analysis of the documents we conclude that anti-racist legislation is fundamental for the effective confrontation of racism, however, it needs to be presented and discussed with teachers and the school community so that there is, in fact, a collective movement.
