RELAÇÕES DE PODER, ESTADO E EDUCAÇÃO: CONTRIBUIÇÕES FREIRIANAS PARA A PRÁTICA DOCENTE NA UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE GOIÁS
Este artigo apresenta algumas considerações sobre a perspectiva dos estudos realizados para construção da dissertação de mestrado que está sendo desenvolvida no Programa de Pós-Graduação em História da Universidade Estadual de Goiás (PPGHIS/UEG). Para respaldar a proposta de pesquisa nos ocupamos de uma revisão bibliográfica com o intuito de apontar as relações de poder entre o Estado e a educação assentadas na análise de obras acadêmicas que apresentam considerações sobre a manifestação da força do Estado, a expansão universitária e a importância da docência crítico-reflexiva. Destacamos o diálogo que envolve tais relações na perspectiva de compreender as imposições da sociedade capitalista e o papel do Estado. A presente e breve exposição nos permitiu refletir sobre uma dinâmica de avanços e retrocessos sobre a temática estudada inserida no contexto histórico-político brasileiro que marcam a educação superior e as relações de poder por meio da interveniência do Estado em defesa dos interesses da classe dominante.

Abstract:
This article presents some considerations about the perspective of the studies carried out for the construction of the master's thesis that is being developed in the Postgraduate Program in History of the State University of Goiás (PPGHIS/UEG). To support the research proposal, we undertake a bibliographic review in order to point out the power relations between the State and education based on the analysis of academic works that present considerations about the manifestation of the State's strength, university expansion and the importance of critical-reflective teaching. We highlight the dialogue that involves such relationships in the perspective of understanding the impositions of capitalist society and the role of the State. The present and brief exposition allowed us to reflect on a dynamic of advances and setbacks on the studied theme inserted in the Brazilian historical-political context that mark higher education and power relations through state intervention in defense of the interests of the ruling class.
