RELAÇÃO ENTRE PESO/LARGURA CEFALOTORÁCICA E A CPUE DO CARANGUEJO-UÇÁ (UCIDES CORDATUS) EM MANGUEZAIS DA RESERVA EXTRATIVISTA MARINHA DE TRACUATEUA-PA
Este tabalho teve como objetivo analisar a relação peso/largura cefalotorácica (PE/LC) e a Captura por Unidade de Esforço - CPUE do caranguejo-uçá em duas áreas de manguezais na Reserva Extrativista Marinha de Tracuateua. Os dados foram coletados nos meses de Dezembro de 2014 e Maio de 2015, os animas foram sexados e mesurados LC e PE com paquímetro de aço digital sensibilidade de 0,01mm e balança digital 0,01g. A CPUE foi avaliada (caranguejos/homem/hora). A relação peso/largura cefalotorácica ajustada na equação exponencial Y = a + b * lnX, com posterior análise em teste T α 5% nos programas Bioestat 5.0 e Excel 2010. Os resultados obtidos revelam a proporção sexual total de 4:1 (X² = 21.60; p<0.0001) e que os machos são maiores que as fêmeas tanto em PE quanto LC (p < 0.01). A CPUE foi maior no manguezal Santo André (36 e 24 caranguejos/homem/hora) no manguezal Cajueiro, respectivamente. Apresentando forte relação PE/LC para ambas as áreas, R2= 96.04% para o Manguezal Santo André e R2= 95.79% no Manguezal Cajueiro. A CPUE mostrou-se significativa quando comparada a outras áreas de manguezais do Brasil. A forte relação entre peso/largura evidencia a importância no desenvolvimento do caranguejo-uçá. No entanto, vale enfatizar a necessidade de políticas públicas mais eficientes que contribuam com o desenvolvimento e a melhoria de vida das comunidades litorâneas, principalmente na reserva marinha de Tracuateua. Assim como o monitoramento das populações de U. cordatus no litoral amazônico, afim de contribuir para o manejo sustentável deste recurso.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was to analyze the weight/width ratio (PE/LC) and the Capture per Unit of Effort – CPUE, of the uçá-crab in two mangrove areas at the Extractive Marine Reserve of Tracuateua. The data were collected in the months of December 2014 and May 2015, the animals were sexed and measured LC and PE with digital steel pachymeter sensitivity of 0.01mm and digital scale 0.01g. CPUE was evaluated (crabs / man / hour). The weight/width ratio cephalothoracic adjusted in the exponential equation Y = a + b * lnX, with subsequent analysis in the test T α 5% in the programs Bioestat 5.0 and Excel 2010. The results obtained reveal the total sexual ratio of 4:1 (X² = 21.60, p <0.0001) and that males are larger than females in both PE and LC (p <0.01). CPUE was higher in the Santo André’s mangrove (36 and 24 crabs/man/hour) in the Cajueiro’s mangrove, respectively. With a strong PE/LC ratio for both areas, R2 = 96.04% for the Santo André’s Mangrove and R2 = 95.79% for the Cajueiro’s Mangrove. CPUE was significant when compared to other mangrove areas in Brazil. The strong relation between weight/width evidences the importance in the development of the uçá-crab. However, it is worth stressing the need for more efficient public policies that contribute to the development and improvement of the life of coastal communities, especially in the Tracuatea Marine Reserve. As well as the monitoring of the populations of U. cordatus in the Amazonian coast, in order to contribute to the sustainable management of this resource.
