RELAÇÃO ENTRE AVIFAUNA E PLANTAS FRUTÍFERAS EM PARQUES LINEARES URBANOS
Os parques lineares são áreas
revitalizadas localizadas nas margens de
córregos e rios com o objetivo de preservar
áreas de várzea responsáveis pela absorção
de água da chuva e criar espaços de lazer e
socialização. No processo de arborização,
são utilizadas diferentes espécies de árvores,
algumas ornamentais e outras frutíferas.
Através dos frutos e dos abrigos proporcionados
pelas árvores, a avifauna urbana se estabelece
desempenhando controle de pragas e vetores,
além da disseminação de sementes. Este
estudo foi realizado nos parques lineares de
Aricanduva, Canivete, do Fogo, Gamelinha,
Ipiranguinha, Itaim, Parelheiros, Rapadura,
Sapé e Tiquatira, distribuídos nas regiões leste,
oeste, norte e sul da cidade de São Paulo,
onde trinta e seis árvores frutíferas foram
identificadas, responsáveis pela alimentação
de 22 espécies de aves que são frequentes
nesses parques.

Abstract:
Linear parks are revitalized areas
located on the banks of streams and rivers with
the objective of preserving floodplain areas
responsible for the absorption of rainwater and
creating spaces for leisure and socialization. In
the process of afforestation, different species
are used, some ornamentals and other fruit
trees. Through the fruits and shelter provided
by the trees, urban avifauna establishes itself
and plays the role of controlling pests and
urban vectors. This study was carried out in
the Aricanduva, Canivete, Fogel, Gamelinha,
Ipiranguinha, Itaim, Parelheiros, Rapadura,
Sapé and Tiquatira linear parks, distributed in
the eastern, western, northern and southern
regions of the city of São Paulo. Thirty-six fruit
trees were identified, responsible for feeding 22
species of birds that are frequent in these parks.
