Abstract: Biomedicine has grown in recent years and has proven to be a promising field for new professionals who wish to pursue a career as a biomedical esthete, showing the various areas that in addition to aesthetics this professional can work in. Its main objective was to understand how aesthetic biomedicine contributes to procedures aimed at facial rejuvenation and other applicabilities, considering technical aspects, efficacy and safety. Specifically, it seeks to identify the biomedical procedures used for skin rejuvenation, to know the techniques applied and to understand the performance of the biomedical esthete in the exercise of the profession. The methodology adopted was bibliographic research, of a qualitative nature, based on scientific articles, academic works and official documents published between 10 and 15 years. The results indicate that the field of aesthetic biomedicine has been consolidating itself as a relevant and promising specialty, especially because it enables the biomedical professional to work with advanced and safe techniques to combat the signs of skin aging. Procedures such as botulinum toxin, fillers, microneedling, collagen biostimulators, among others, were highlighted, all based on scientific basis and duly regulated. The discussion shows that, in addition to technical training, the performance of the biomedical aesthete requires ethical responsibility and anatomical-physiological mastery, ensuring personalized and safe care. It is concluded that aesthetic biomedicine plays a fundamental role in facial rejuvenation, promoting significant improvements in the quality of life of patients. The biomedical professional aesthete, through evidence-based practices, collaborates not only with aesthetics, but also with the self-esteem and general well-being of individuals.
