Abstract: This research aims to investigate, according to the Reggio Emilia perspective in Early Childhood Education, how the organization of learning environments develops the creative and imaginative capacities of individuals. The selection is based on validation, through cutting-edge research, proving that the production of the theme is still incipient in Brazil, in order to answer what are the characteristics of the learning environments that help in the development of the creative and imaginative capacities of the child according to the Reggio Emilia perspective in Early Childhood Education. We seek to understand the approach of Reggio Emilia and the pedagogical methodology idealized by Loris Malaguzzi (1920-1994), we analyze the creative and imaginative capacity of the child, using as a theoretical reference the work “The hundred languages of the child: the approach of Reggio Emilia in the early childhood education” (2016) by Edwards, Gandini, and Forman.
