Regeneração natural em áreas de Caatinga em diferentes estádios de conservação
Estudos de regeneração natural na Caatinga são fundamentais para compreender a resiliência de suas tipologias vegetacionais. Sendo assim, o presente estudo foi realizado com o objetivo de analisar a regeneração natural de espécies florestais nativas da Caatinga, no Semiárido sergipano, por meio de parâmetros estruturais da vegetação, avaliando-se a capacidade de resiliência de três ambientes sob diferentes níveis de conservação. As análises foram realizadas na Unidade de Conservação Monumento Natural Grota do Angico, considerando-se os seguintes ambientes: na Zona Primitiva, Zona de Uso Extensivo e Zona de Recuperação. Para isto, foram instaladas 5 parcelas de 2 x 20 m em cada ambiente, fazendo-se as medições, coletas, identificação e registro de todos os indivíduos de espécies lenhosas vivas, com altura mínima de 15 cm e diâmetro ao nível do solo menor que 3 cm. Posteriormente, foram analisadas as classes de tamanho, e a estrutura, tanto horizontal quanto vertical. As espécies Poincianella pyramidalis, Bauhinia cheilantha, Jatropha mollissima e Commiphora leptophloeos tiveram, de forma geral, maior contribuição na regeneração natural total para os ambientes estudados. Cada ambiente analisado apresentou suas espécies mais representativas quanto à densidade, frequência e regeneração natural, em função também das classes de tamanho.

Abstract:
Studies of natural regeneration in the Caatinga are fundamental to understand the resilience of its vegetation typologies. Thus, the present study was carried out with the objective of analyzing the natural regeneration of native forest species of the Caatinga, in the semi-arid Sergipe, through structural parameters of the vegetation, evaluating the resilience of three environments under different conservation levels. The analyzes were carried out in the Natural Monument Conservation Unit of the Angico, considering the following environments: in the Primitiva Zone, Extensive Use Zone and Recovery Zone. For this purpose, five 2 x 20 m plots were installed in each environment. Measurements, collection, identification and recording of all individuals of living woody species, with a minimum height of 15 cm and a diameter at ground level of less than 3 cm. Subsequently, the size classes, and the structure, both horizontal and vertical, were analyzed. The species Poincianella pyramidalis, Bauhinia cheilantha, Jatropha mollissima and Commiphora leptophloeos had, in general, greater contribution in total natural regeneration for the studied environments. Each analyzed environment presented its most representative species regarding density, frequency and natural regeneration, also in function of size classes.
