REFLEXÕES SOBRE O MULTICULTURALISMO: COMO ABORDAR ESSE TEMA NO PROCESSO DO ENSINO E APRENDIZAGEM ESCOLAR?
Este artigo tem como objetivo principal promover algumas reflexões sobre o multiculturalismo e a educação; e como objetivo secundário discutir sobre como a educação multicultural pode ser reconhecida e incentivada no processo de ensino e aprendizagem escolar. Nesta pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, em termos metodológicos efetuou-se uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a temática do multiculturalismo, com o levantamento de artigos científicos sobre esse assunto. Nos tópicos de discussão deste texto será exposta a fundamentação teórica, com as subsequentes reflexões sobre a temática em estudo. Estas reflexões teóricas construídas foram organizadas em três partes. Concluiu-se que o processo de ensino e aprendizagem escolar é um caminho possível para o estabelecimento da educação multicultural, que pode culminar na construção da equidade social em nosso país, para uma sociedade mais justa e mais humanizada.

Abstract:
The main objective of this article is to promote some reflections about multiculturalism and education; and as a secondary objective to discuss how multicultural education can be recognized and encouraged in the process of school teaching and learning. In this qualitative research, in methodological terms, a bibliographic review was carried out about the multiculturalism theme, with a survey of scientific articles about this subject. In the discussion topics of this text, the theoretical basis will be exposed, with the subsequent reflections on the theme under study. These theoretical reflections were organized in three parts. It was concluded that the school teaching and learning process is a possible path for the establishment of multicultural education, which can culminate in the construction of social equity in our country, for a more just and more humanized society.
