Reflexões Sobre a Prática Profissional dos(as) Assistentes Sociais no Sistema Prisional Feminino
O artigo busca trazer à tona o debate sobre a prática dos(as) assistentes sociais no Sistema Prisional Feminino no Brasil. Para tanto, foram investigadas as leis, políticas e programas sociais que buscam efetivar os direitos das mulheres encarceradas, identificando quais são os desafios e potencialidades da prática profissional nesse espaço sócio-ocupacional. A partir daí discutimos como se dá a atuação frente a um sistema marcado pelo racismo, sexismo, pela contradição de classes e pela busca da manutenção da ordem social através de meios coercitivos e violentos. Onde as expressões da questão social se manifestam a todo momento, foram exploradas as práticas profissionais na defesa dos direitos de uma população invisibilizada, que é sistematicamente excluída da sociedade e pelo Estado burguês. Para isso, analisamos dados oficiais sobre o perfil das mulheres encarceradas no Brasil sob a perspectiva da interseccionalidade, do racismo estrutural e institucional com o intuito de aprofundar o entendimento sobre o padrão de criminalização e punição sistemáticos da população negra e pobre no país.

Abstract:
The article aims to debate on the practice of social workers in female Prison System in Brazil. Hence, investigates laws, policies and social programs that seek to enforce the rights of incarcerated women were analysed, identifying what are the challenges and potentialities of professional practice within this socio-occupational space. Therefore, we discuss how practice in the face of a system marked by racism, sexism, class contradiction and the pursuit of maintaining social order through coercive and violent means. Where the expressions of the social question are constantly manifested, professional practices were explored in the defence of rights of an invisible population, which is systematically excluded from society and by the bourgeois State. For this, we analysed official data to profile women incarcerated in Brazil, in the perspective of intersectionality, structural and institutional racism in order to deepen the understanding of the pattern of systematic criminalization and punishment of the black and poor population in the country.
