REFLEXÕES SOBRE A GESTÃO DEMOCRÁTICO-PARTICIPATIVA NA ESCOLA PÚBLICA
O texto discute Educação e Políticas
Educacionais, sob o enfoque jurídico, através
da análise de dois grandes marcos legais: a
Constituição Federal de 1988 e a Lei de Diretrizes
e Bases da Educação Nacional – LDB/96.
Debate a Gestão Democrático-Participativa e as
suas implicações, ressaltando a importância da
participação da comunidade escolar e local no
processo da gestão educacional e da conquista
da autonomia pedagógica, administrativa e
financeira da escola pública. Apresenta a
melhoria da qualidade do ensino e a promoção
da cidadania através da educação como fatores
resultantes da implantação de uma gestão
democrático-participativa e da realização da
função social da escola pública.

Abstract:
The text argues Education and
Educational Policies, under the legal approach,
through the analysis of two great legal
landmarks: the Federal Constitution of 1988
and the Law of Lines of direction and Bases of
National Education - LDB/96. It has debated the
Democratic Management and its implications,
having standed out the importance of the
participation of the school and local community in
the process of educational management and of
the conquest of the pedagogical, administrative
and financial autonomy of the public school.
It presents the improvement of the quality of
education and the promotion of the citizenship
through the education as resultant factors of
the implantation of a democratic-participative
management and of the implementation of the
social function of the public school.
