Abstract: This work was inspired by the experience of the Text and Teaching discipline of the Professional Master's Degree in Literature (PROFLETRAS/UFPA). At the time, we presented a work that analyzed the discursive and ideological formations involved in the news that circulates in the newspapers G1, Brasil de Fato, among others. Later, we discussed the theoretical references of AD, which seek to explain how these discourses occur, understanding their regularities and the discursive formation arising from each journalistic source. As a final reflection, we sought to think of a didactic strategy that allows students to reflect on the impact of environmental imbalance in the Amazon by identifying the discourses current in these important communication vehicles. We can take as final considerations when, when examining the discursive formations that are linked to a certain means of communication, such as those analyzed in Jornal G1 and Brasil de Fato, we can understand that each communication vehicle has an ideological vision that is used to perpetuate stereotypes, prejudices and values that serve certain economic, political and social interests. Likewise, students, when encouraged to reflect on their own language, to recognize the impact of words on social relations and to construct their identity and their own social reality, may be able to understand and interpret the use of language in different contexts, especially in journalistic-media contexts, they will be prepared to become informed citizens, capable of engaging meaningfully in the world around them.
