REFLEXÕES DOS ALUNOS CONCLUINTES DO CURSO TÉCNICO EM ADMINISTRAÇÃO, NA MODALIDADE EAD, DO INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE SERGIPE
O presente texto corresponde
aos resultados preliminares da pesquisa
de Mestrado em Educação do autor, e tem
por objetivo compreender, em meio a um
percentual considerável de evasão, as razões
que contribuíram para a permanência dos
alunos concluintes do Curso Técnico em
Administração, na modalidade a distância,
ofertado pelo Instituto Federal de Sergipe. As
turmas escolhidas para a aplicação da pesquisa
foram as que estudaram no Campus Aracaju
e no Campus Estância, pois representam
duas, das quatro, turmas piloto do Instituto na
educação a distância. O marco temporal da
pesquisa equivale aos anos 2013 a 2015, que
correspondem, respectivamente, aos anos inicial
e final das turmas. Definida como qualitativa
descritiva, com enfoque fenomenológico, esta
investigação se apoia no método de estudo de
caso. Contudo, para obtenção das informações,
foram pesquisadas algumas obras que
permitiram maior entendimento do problema,
e foram consultados os documentos e leis que
regulamentam o curso, o que a caracteriza
como bibliográfica e documental. Além disso, foi
aplicado o método de grupo focal com os alunos
das turmas citadas, e entrevista semiestruturada
com as Equipes Diretiva e Pedagógica do
curso. Depois de aplicado todo o percurso
metodológico, conclui-se que as razões que
fizeram com que os alunos permanecessem até
a fase de conclusão do Curso estão centradas
principalmente na atuação do Professor Tutor,
além da busca por melhoramentos no currículo
e certificação emitida por um órgão federal.

Abstract:
This text corresponds to the
preliminary results of the author's Masters in
Education research, and aims to understand,
among a considerable percentage of dropout,
the reasons that contributed to the permanence
of the graduating students of the Technical
Course in Administration, in the distance modality, offered by the Instituto Federal de
Sergipe. The classes chosen for the application of the research were those that studied
at Campus Aracaju and Campus Estância, as they represent two of the four pilot classes
of the Institute in distance education. The timeframe of the research is equivalent to the
years 2013 to 2015, which correspond, respectively, to the beginning and final years
of the classes. Defined as qualitative descriptive, with a phenomenological focus, this
investigation is based on the case study method. However, to obtain the information,
some works that allowed a better understanding of the problem were searched, the
documents and laws that regulate the course were consulted. In addition, the focus
group method was applied to the students of the above mentioned classes, and a
semi-structured interview with the Course Management and Pedagogical Teams. After
applying the entire methodological course, it was concluded that the The reasons that
made the students stay until the conclusion of the course are mainly focused on the
performance of Professor Tutor, besides the search for improvements in the curriculum
and certification issued by a federal agency.
