Abstract: In schools, we often see science teaching being suffocated, with the rigor brought by textbooks. This ends up making the teaching-learning process difficult, as students start to memorize the content instead of thinking and reflecting on what is being taught. However, when we manage to follow the path of enchantment, with practices that allow students to become a fundamental part in the construction of knowledge, we can provide a more interesting science teaching, arousing the curiosity of those involved. Therefore, the objective of this work is to show how the pedagogical practices based on enchantment were perceived by the students of the botany teaching methodology discipline. For this, a qualitative research was carried out to investigate the perception of the proposed activities that were carried out during the course. It was perceived as a teaching based on resources that can arouse enchantment increase interest in the themes considered during science teaching, contributing for the construction of contextualized knowledge.
