REFLETINDO SOBRE MINHA IDENTIDADE: UM PESQUISADOR NO CONTEXTO CULTURAL DE UM MUNICÍPIO SEM REGISTROS
Trata-se de um texto sobre o percurso trilhado para me constituir pesquisador no campo cultural e da música popular a partir dos fundamentos teóricos da etnomusicologia. Como me fiz pesquisador no campo da etnomusilogogia? Além das referências bibliográficas empregadas neste estudo, utilizei narrativas extraídas de minha memória, assim como de fotografias das quais constam registros de diversos momentos de minha vida. Como resultado, ficou evidenciado que o contexto histórico, social, político, familiar e cultural marca sobremaneira o processo de construção das identidades das pessoas, em especial dos indivíduos envolvidos com a produção de bens culturais materiais e simbólicos.

Abstract:
This is a text about the path I followed to become a researcher in the cultural and popular music fields from the theoretical foundations of ethnomusicology. How did I become a researcher in the field of ethnomusicology? In addition to the bibliographic references used in this study, I used narratives extracted from my memories, as well as photographs that contain records of different moments in my life. As a result, it became evident that the historical, social, political, family and cultural context strongly marks the process of building people's identities, especially those involved with the production of material and symbolic cultural goods. There is no fixed identity for the historical subject, since they suffer several interferences throughout their life. In my case, I became a repertoire of possibilities, forged in the midst of hybrid cultures, a synthesis of values that exist in the social environment, in the family nucleus, in the schools and the university that I attended, in the workplaces where I developed and carry out programs and cultural projects, as well as the music groups with which I shared the stages and artistic performances. I am, therefore, a subject/artist who was made in time, a product and producer of culture.
