A educação a distância urge como

um modelo para expandir a educação no país,

no qual o estudante é o centro do processo de

ensino-aprendizagem. Para tanto, o projeto

pedagógico de curso (PPC) de EAD deve ter

um compromisso institucional para garantir a

formação do estudante na dimensão técnicacientífica para enfrentar o mercado de trabalho e

a dimensão política para a formação do cidadão,

tendo como base referenciais de qualidade.

Sendo assim, o objetivo geral deste artigo é

identificar os referenciais de qualidade para

Educação Superior a distância proposta pelo

MEC e que deverão estar previstos no Projeto

Pedagógico de Curso (PPC) na modalidade

de educação a distância (EAD). A metodologia

utilizada foi uma pesquisa descritiva, por meio

de uma revisão de literatura. As conclusões

obtidas foram que os referenciais de qualidade

do Ministério e Educação e Cultura (MEC)

são relacionadas nas dimensões pedagógica,

tecnológica e político-administrativa dos cursos

de EAD. O modelo pedagógico de curso deverá

estar alinhado e suportado com o uso da

tecnologia da informação e comunicação, a fim

estimular a interação, interatividade, motivação

dos estudantes no processo de ensinoaprendizagem e minimizar a evasão dos cursos

de EAD.

Abstract:
Distance education is a model to

expand education in the country, in which the

student is the center of the teaching-learning

process. To this end, the course pedagogical

project of distance education should have

an institutional commitment to guarantee

student training in the technical-scientific

dimension to face the labor market and the

political dimension for citizen training, based

on quality. Therefore, the general objective of

this article is to identify the quality references

for Higher Education at distance proposed by

the MEC and that should be foreseen in the

course pedagogical project in the modality of

distance education. The methodology used

was a descriptive research, through a literature

review. The conclusions obtained were that

the quality references of the MEC are related

in the pedagogical, technological and politicaladministrative dimensions of the distance

education course. The pedagogical model of

the course should be aligned and supported

with the use of information and communication technology in order to stimulate the

interaction, interactivity, motivation of the students in the teaching-learning process and

minimize the avoidance of distance education course.
