Abstract: PUC-SP is headquartered in a former convent of the city of São Paulo, a neighborhood of Perdizes, built in 1923. The building is marked in its architecture by a rewriting based on the roots of colonial buildings, an artistic-cultural movement that reinforces the memory of the Past Portuguese and highlights local values, manifested by the elements of their external and internal facades, as well as by the characteristics of their chapel through tile panels and their inner elements. The Monte Alegre Campus, a appointment that refers to the location address, has expanded over time with successive rewriting until the current configuration of a block beyond other buildings in its surroundings that today houses about 10,000 students, being one of the main Universities of Brazil. The Perdizes neighborhood recently undergoes major transformations of the modes of living with replacement of the houses whistled germinated with high buildings that offer small apartments to students, and produces population densification, added to the construction of a subway that impacts a real estate appreciation. The analysis of campus architecture is based on the concepts of French semiotics, especially the postulations of A.J. Greimas of the generative path of meaning as a method of meaning production that we will analyze relating the levels: discursive, narrative, fundamental and its consequences by E. Landowski as a general theory of meaning from the complexification of narrative grammar with its logical regents articulated in meaning, interaction and risk of the utterances of language arrangements with their syncretic articulations that constitute the global statement of the object of study. Through successive rearrangement of rewriting Portuguese colonial traits throughout their existence, either by procedures of transformation, erasing, intervention or reinvention (OLIVEIRA, 2017) in campus we show collisions, overlays in the brilliants of continuous restructuring to maintain its performance while Subject actively in the most significant interactions that make the university, in the neighborhood and in the city, to be felt aesthetic and intelligibly by the plastic and figurative arrangements of its architecture, with the diversity of narratives in their spaces that form their institutional identity with their values. This work is to understand the different types of interaction between the original convent and the whole of its surroundings that constitutes the university space of PUC-SP and how they articulate in a totality of meaning that marks identity and institutional visibility. The methodology used is the analysis of content plans and expression guiding by the generative path of meaning in the approach of the university experience of their attendances, with the social practices that the repeated use of spaces installs, with the purpose of understanding how those Different types of interactions of the various individual and collective subjects in the different narratives in which they act meet the needs of spaces operated by space as a university.
