REDUZIR, REUTILIZAR E RECICLAR - SUSTENTABILIDADE DE UM CENTRO DE TRIAGEM DE MATERIAIS RECICLÁVEIS: ESTUDO DE CASO
O Brasil tem sinalizado que não
está suportando mais a agressão ao meio
ambiente provocada pelo acúmulo de resíduos
e esgotamento dos recursos naturais em
função do aumento do consumo. O índice de
reciclagem e reaproveitamento é baixo, pois
para alguns materiais não há mercado. Isso
torna a atividade com materiais recicláveis
instável e pouco atrativa, e, aliando a má
gestão financeira não se mantém por muito
tempo. Neste contexto, o objetivo desse
estudo é apresentar uma proposta de gestão
financeira para um centro de triagem visando
sua sustentabilidade no mercado de materiais
recicláveis localizado na Região Metropolitana
do Vale do Paraíba, Estado de São Paulo. O
método de pesquisa utilizado foi estudo de caso
por meio de observação e análise documental
de caráter exploratório. Como resultado, foi
possível identificar que os materiais com alto
giro como o alumínio, papel e PET são vitais
para sua permanência no mercado. O cobre e
o ferro são matérias que devem ser eliminados,
mesmo que temporariamente, devido à baixa
quantidade e giro.

Abstract:
Brazil has signaled that is not
supporting more damage to the environment
caused by the accumulation of waste and
depletion of natural resources due to the
increased consumption. The recycling and
reuse rate is low, as for some materials there
is no market. This makes the activity with
unstable recyclable materials and unattractive,
and, combining financial mismanagement does
not hold for long. In this context, the aim of
this study is to present a proposal for financial
management to a screening center aiming its
sustainability in the recyclables market located
in the metropolitan region of the Paraíba Valley,
State of São Paulo. The research method
used was case study through observation and
document analysis exploratory. As a result, it
observed that materials with high turnover such
as aluminum, paper and PET are vital to their
stay in the market. Copper and iron are matters
that should be eliminated, even temporarily,
because of the low quantity and spin
