Este artigo analisa a redução dos índices de feminicídio no estado do Paraná no ano de 2025, correlacionando esse fenômeno com as ações de prevenção e a atuação das equipes policiais da Patrulha Maria da Penha (PMP). A pesquisa possui abordagem quali-quantitativa, com base em dados oficiais da segurança pública, revisão bibliográfica e análise documental. Os resultados indicam que a diminuição dos casos está associada ao fortalecimento e investimento do estado do Paraná em políticas públicas de enfrentamento e conscientização sobre o tema, à integração interinstitucional e à atuação preventiva e contínua das Patrulhas. Conclui-se que o modelo de policiamento especializado e humanizado, adotado pelas equipes da PMP, contribui significativamente para a proteção das vítimas, o apoio nos momentos críticos e a redução da reincidência em casos de violência doméstica.

  • Abstract: This article analyzes the reduction in femicide rates in the state of Paraná in 2025, correlating this phenomenon with the prevention actions and performance of the Maria da Penha Patrol (PMP) police teams. The research has a qualitative-quantitative approach, based on official public security data, bibliographic review, and document analysis. The results indicate that the decrease in cases is associated with the strengthening and investment by the state in public policies to address and raise awareness about the issue, inter-institutional integration, and the preventive and continuous action of the Patrols. It concludes that the specialized and humanized policing model adopted by the PMP teams contributes significantly to the protection of victims, support in critical moments, and to the reduction of recidivism in cases of domestic violence.
