REDES DE SOCIABILIDADE, RELAÇÕES DE GÊNERO E EMPODERAMENTO DO FUTEBOL FEMININO
O artigo apresenta os resultados de um estudo sobre sociabilidade, relações de gênero e diferentes papéis exercidos pelas mulheres da agrovila de Trindade, em Santa Izabel, no Pará. O ponto de partida foi o futebol feminino, prática que reafirma suas condições sociais e as empodera. O estudo ocorreu com 8 mulheres que preferiram ficar no anonimato e, através de uma roda de conversa com um roteiro de entrevista aplicado, demonstrou que as mulheres utilizam o futebol como forma de sociabilidade coletiva, processo que influencia diretamente na permanência do futebol na comunidade. As relações de gênero relegam às mulheres papéis sociais subalternos e inferiores e, para superá-los, utilizam do futebol para melhorar sua autoestima, para realização pessoal e empoderar-se socialmente.

Abstract:
The article presents results of the study about sociability, gender relations and different roles exercised by women from Trindade village, Santa Isabel, Pará. The starting point was women’s soccer, practice that reaffirms their social conditions and empowers them. The study occurred with 8 women who wished to remain anonymous and, through conversation round and with an applied interview script, it demonstrated that women use football as a form of collective sociability, process that directly influences the permanence of soccer in the community. The gender relations relegate to women subordinate and inferior social roles to overcome them and, they use soccer to improve their self-esteem for professional fulfillment and empowering themselves socially.
