Abstract: This article reviews the advancements in the therapeutic management of elderly patients in emergency and urgent care settings. It emphasizes the importance of specialized geriatric screening protocols, the integration of multidisciplinary teams, and appropriate pharmacological management. The emerging role of telemedicine as a supportive tool in caring for this population is also discussed. Despite advancements, challenges in uniform implementation and training remain key focus areas. The article concludes by highlighting the need for ongoing development and adaptation strategies to enhance care for elderly patients in emergency situations.
