REDE ESPECIALIZADA DE ATENÇÃO À PESSOA COM DIABETES MELLITUS EM CIDADE DO INTERIOR DE SÃO PAULO
O Diabetes Mellitus é doença crônica que cursa com hiperglicemia persistente e pode ser classificado de acordo com sua base genética ou ambiental-comportamental. Dentre os fatores ambientais, ressalta-se a importância do estilo de vida, alimentação e atividade física. A hiperglicemia persistente cursa, ao longo dos anos, com complicações agudas e crônicas de elevada morbimortalidade. Cabe portanto, que o sistema e a rede de saúde estruturem-se de forma clara e objetiva para que se consigam oferecer serviços e atendimento ao paciente diabético que viabilizem o enfrentamento de sua doença. O atendimento integral e com equipe multidisciplinar garante ao paciente diabético melhor enfrentamento de sua doença e posterga ou impede o surgimento de complicações vasculares, neurológicas, cardíacas e cerebrais. É fundamental, assim, a caracterização da Rede de Atenção Especializada ao paciente diabético para que seja reconhecido o itinerário terapêutico do paciente na rede além de sua infraestrutura, equipe de serviço e ações ofertadas.

Abstract:
Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic diseae that courses with persistent hyperglyceia and can be classfied according to its genetic or environmental-behavior basis. Among the environmental factors, the importance of lifestyle, diet and physical activity is hughlighted. Persistent hyperglycemia courses, over the years, with the acute and chronic complicactions of hugh morbidity and mortality. Therefore it is important that the health system and network are structured in a clear and objective way so that they are able to offer services and care to diabetic patients that enable them to cope with their disease. Comprehensive care and multidisciplinary team ensure that diabetic patients ate bettes able to cope with their disease and delay or prevet the onset of vascular, neruological, cardiac, and cerebral complications. Therefore, it is essential to characterize the Specialized Care Netword for Diabetic patients so that the patient’s therapeutic itinerary can be recognized in the network, in addition to its infrastructure, service team and actions offered.
