RECICLAGEM EM CRICIÚMA-SC: UMA VISÃO CRÍTICA PARA A EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL
O presente trabalho aborda o tema da reciclagem, a qual pode ser definida como a transformação de objetos materiais em novos produtos para o consumo. O objetivo foi proporcionar uma visão crítica para a educação ambiental, principalmente acerca da preservação do meio ambiente e tendo como base o contexto local/regional de Criciúma-SC. A tipologia do estudo desenvolvido foi a prática real, onde foram feitas observações da realidade através da visitação da cooperativa de catadores de materiais recicláveis de Criciúma (CTMAR). Observou-se que o material reciclado chega diariamente no local em um caminhão terceirizado pela prefeitura de Criciúma-sc. Com isso, pode-se concluir que não existe só a necessidade da boa vontade da população em realizar a separação do seu “lixo” doméstico, mas há outros fatores relacionados à logística do processo que precisam melhorar.

Abstract:
The present work addresses the topic of recycling, which can be defined as the transformation of material objects into new products for consumption. The objective was to provide a critical view for environmental education, mainly about the preservation of the environment and based on the local/regional context of Criciúma-SC. The typology of the study developed was the real practice, where observations of reality were made through the visitation of the cooperative of collectors of recyclable materials of Criciúma (CTMAR). It was observed that the recycled material arrives daily at the site in a truck outsourced by the city of Criciúma-sc. With this, it can be concluded that there is not only the need for the goodwill of the population to carry out the separation of their domestic “garbage”, but there are other factors related to the logistics of the process that need to be improved.
