REABERTURA PROTÉTICA E PERFIL DE EMERGÊNCIA
Na reabilitação oral com prótese sobre implantes, a reabertura protética, também chamada de segunda etapa cirúrgica, consiste em expor a região de topo do implante para instalação de componentes protéticos. Essa etapa permite avaliação direta dos tecidos periimplantares e tem como objetivo proporcionar um adequado perfil de emergência. Em implantodontia, o conceito de perfil de emergência pode ser definido como o ângulo entre o pilar de cicatrização e a sua projeção a partir da superfície do implante. O perfil irá compor o contorno da mucosa peri implantar e está diretamente relacionado à estética dental. Existem algumas maneiras de se conseguir o correto perfil de emergência previamente à confecção da restauração final, por meio dos componentes cicatrizadores, manipulação das próteses provisórias e cirurgias periodontais. No presente capítulo iremos abordar as etapas desta reabertura protética, bem como as formas de obtenção do perfil de emergência.

Abstract:
In oral rehabilitation with prosthesis over implants, prosthetic reopening, also called the second surgical stage, consists of exposing the top region of the implant for installation of prosthetic components. This step allows direct assessment of peri-implant tissues and aims to provide an adequate emergence profile. In implant dentistry, the concept of emergence profile can be defined as the angle between the healing abutment and its projection from the implant surface. The profile will compose the contour of the peri-implant mucosa and is directly related to dental esthetics. There are some ways to achieve the correct emergence profile prior to making the final restoration, through healing components, manipulation of temporary prostheses and periodontal surgeries. In this chapter, we approach the stages of this prosthetic reopening, as well as the forms of emergence of the emergence profile.
