Abstract: The integration of deaf students into Technological Professional Education (EPT) at secondary level is a significant challenge, but fundamental to building a more inclusive and equitable society. This article, based on a literature review, proposes a qualitative and descriptive analysis of the permanence of these young people in the Federal Science and Technology Network. As we reimagine these students' paths, we will not only consider the challenges they face, but also the innovative solutions and strategies developed to promote their inclusion, learning, and success. The study addresses concepts related to work such as the educational process, comprehensive training, changes in the world of work and the formation of critical subjects. To do this, we resort to a bibliographical review by EPT scholars, combined with Laws and Decrees, which regulate the achievements of deaf people. Federal Institutes must include deaf young people in Technological Professional Education, recognizing them as subjects who explore their experiences through deafness and visual experience, meeting their subjective and social needs in order to stimulate the production of knowledge. This is achieved by promoting a feeling of belonging in the institution, providing an education that allows the acquisition of professional skills without anticipating professionalization, but rather cultivating the intellectual maturity necessary to guide future professional decision-making in adulthood.
