(RE) LEITURA DA PROPOSTA EDUCACIONAL CATÓLICA
Situando-nos, como referência e
sustento para a escola de hoje que passa por
crises de valores, comportamentos, projetos
e sentidos, este ensaio tem a finalidade de
mostrar os pressupostos fundamentais da
educação na perspectiva da Igreja Católica. O
propósito desta pesquisa é salientar como os
ensinamentos católicos podem contribuir para
a formação integral do ser humano num mundo
complexo e globalizado, marcado pela violência
e pelo vazio existencial. Para tanto, será
utilizada uma revisão histórica e bibliográfica
nas principais fontes documentais que alicerçam
a doutrina católica a respeito da educação que,
não obstante às inúmeras mudanças, é muito
valiosa no que tange à difusão dos valores
éticos e morais na proposta da (re) construção
do ser humano.

Abstract:
This essay aims to show the
fundamental presuppositions of education
in the perspective of the Catholic Church.
This essay aims to show us the fundamental
presuppositions of education as a reference
and sustenance for today’s school that goes
through crises of values, behaviors, projects
and senses. The purpose of this research is to
emphasize how Catholic teaching can contribute
to the integral formation of the human being
in a complex and globalized world marked by
violence and existential emptiness. In order to
do so, a historical and bibliographical revision
will be used in the main documentary sources
that support the Catholic doctrine regarding
education that, despite the numerous changes,
is very valuable as regards the diffusion of
ethical and moral values in the proposal of (re)
construction of the human being.
