Abstract: Clinical reasoning is fundamental to physiotherapy practice, guiding the interpretation of data, the formulation of hypotheses, and the definition of conduct in kinetic-functional dysfunctions. Clinical decision-making results from this process, integrating scientific evidence, professional experience, and patient values, with a need for constant adaptation of the therapeutic plan. The physiotherapy teaching clinic constitutes the essential setting for the development of these skills, by promoting the integration between theory and practice, critical reflection, and supervised learning. Despite the benefits, challenges are listed in the clinical training of physiotherapy students, reinforcing the importance of pedagogical strategies that strengthen critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
