QUINTA DO CHÁ: TROCA DE SABERES SOBRE PLANTAS MEDICINAIS NA ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA À SAÚDE - 3a EDIÇÃO
O projeto “Quinta do Chá” objetiva promover uso seguro das plantas medicinais e a prática do autocuidado através da troca de saberes/conhecimentos sobre fitoterapia fornecendo subsídios para implantá-la na Atenção Básica. Após a fase diagnóstica foi escolhida a unidade básica de saúde onde seria implementado o projeto, nesta edição no município de Siderópolis, SC, e possibilitou conhecer as práticas de indicação/prescrição dos profissionais de saúde, conhecimentos prévios e as espécies mais utilizadas. Ocorrem encontros semanais entre professores e acadêmicos da UNESC onde são abordados conhecimentos sobre aspectos botânicos, agroecológicos e terapêuticos das espécies medicinais, conforme preceitos da ANVISA e OMS. Posteriormente, ocorre a troca de conhecimentos das plantas selecionadas junto a comunidade e equipe de Saúde, durante o encontro “Quinta do Chá”, onde são abordados os aspectos botânicos e agroecológicos que visa repassar o reconhecimento, a forma de plantio e o manejo da espécie. Na sequência, promove-se roda de conversa onde a comunidade e os profissionais de saúde relataram as indicações, contraindicações e interações medicamentosas. Como destaque deste projeto foi a implantação do Horto de Plantas Medicinais e Aromáticas, com recursos e manutenção do governo municipal, que conta atualmente com 21 espécies. Estas foram selecionadas com base no diagnóstico junto à comunidade, identificadas taxonomicamente pela equipe do Herbário da UNESC e cultivadas no Horto com supervisão do engenheiro agrônomo do município. Os materiais técnicos originados do projeto estão em fase de revisão e diagramação. A experiência do projeto possibilitou a troca e a consolidação de saberes sobre a fitoterapia e sua real inserção nos cuidados primários em saúde. Adicionalmente o contato com a comunidade e com a realidade do SUS humaniza as práticas acadêmicas e ressignificam a prática profissional, pois os conteúdos teóricos até então abstratos são experienciados e vivenciados no contexto real, possibilitando um constante aprendizado.

Abstract:
The “Quinta do Chá” extension project aims to promote the safe use of medicinal plants and the practice of self-care through the exchange of knowledge about phytotherapy, providing subsidies to implement it in Primary Care . After the diagnostic phase, the unit where the project would be implemented, in this edition in the municipality of Siderópolis, SC, was chosen, to know the indication / prescription practices of health professionals, previous knowledge and the most used species. There are weekly meetings between professors and academics from UNESC where knowledge about botanical, agroecological and therapeutic aspects of medicinal species is addressed, according to the precepts of ANVISA and WHO. Subsequently, there is an exchange of knowledge of the selected plants with the community and the health team, during the “Quinta do Chá” meeting, where the botanical and agroecological aspects of the species that aim at the recognition, the way of planting and the management of the studied species are highlighted. Afterwards, a conversation circle is promoted where the community and health professionals report the indications, contraindications and drug interactions. As a highlight of this project was the implementation of the Garden of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, with resources and maintenance from the municipal government, which currently has 21 species. These were selected based on the diagnosis carried out with the community, identified taxonomically by the UNESC Herbarium team and grown in this Garden under the supervision of the municipality's agronomist. The technical materials originated from the project are being reviewed and diagrammed. The project's experience enabled the exchange and consolidation of knowledge about phytotherapy and its real insertion in primary health care. In addition, contact with the community and with the reality of the SUS humanizes academic practices and re-signifies professional practice, since the theoretical contents hitherto abstract are experienced in the real context, enabling constant learning.
