QUÍMICA AMBIENTAL, USO DE IMAGENS E DIALÓGICA DE PAULO FREIRE NO ENSINO MÉDIO TÉCNICO: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
A Química Ambiental aborda temáticas relevantes como camada de ozônio, efeito estufa, poluição do ar, chuva ácida e aquecimento global, visando a conscientização da sociedade. Paulo Freire acreditava que o diálogo proporcionava essa conscientização, pois tem uma função problematizadora. Bizo (2009) propõe o uso de imagens como recurso facilitador para problematizações. Dentro desse contexto, o presente trabalho ocorreu no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas Campus Manaus Centro (IFAM-CMC) durante o processo formativo de estágio supervisionado cujos sujeitos da pesquisa foram alunos de 2º ano do ensino médio, em 2014. O objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar o ensino de Química Ambiental a partir da dialógica de Paulo Freire. A pesquisa tem caráter qualitativo, cujos instrumentos de coletas de dados foram dois questionários com questões discursivas referentes ao processo de ensino-aprendizagem e a postura da professora, respectivamente. As avaliações desses questionários demonstraram que a proposta atingiu seu objetivo, além de permitir maior proximidade na relação entre professor-aluno, rompendo com a ideia de que o professor é o detentor de todo o conhecimento.

Abstract:
Environmental Chemistry addresses relevant issues such as the ozone layer, greenhouse effect, air pollution, acid rain and global warming, aiming at raising awareness in society. Paulo Freire believed that the dialogue provided this awareness, because it has a problematizing function. Bizo (2009) proposes the use of images as a facilitating resource for problematizations. Within this context, this work took place at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of the Amazonas Campus Manaus Center (IFAM-CMC) during the formative process of supervised internship whose subjects of the research were high school students in 2014. The objective of this study was to evaluate the teaching of Environmental Chemistry from the dialogic of Paulo Freire. The research has a qualitative character, whose data collection instruments were two questionnaires with discursive questions regarding the teaching-learning process and the teacher's posture, respectively. The evaluations of these questionnaires demonstrated that the proposal reached its objective, besides allowing greater proximity in the relationship between teacher-student, breaking with the idea that the teacher is the holder of all the knowledge.
