QUESTIONAMENTOS EPISTEMOLÓGICOS CONTEMPORÂNEOS: UMA CONTRIBUIÇÃO AO ENSINO DA METODOLOGIA DE PESQUISA EM CIÊNCIAS SOCIAIS
O presente texto tem como objetivo sugerir que o ensino de Metodologia de Pesquisa em Ciências Sociais, na forma de disciplina que é oferecida mais comumente ao nível de mestrado e menos ao nível de doutorado, seja reformulado com base nas contribuições mais recentes no terreno da epistemologia, as quais levam a uma aparente substituição do paradigma da singularidade pelo paradigma da complexidade. A tentativa de adotar o paradigma da complexidade ajudaria a dar mais legitimidade e praticabilidade à disciplina, atualizando-a diante do debate epistemológico contemporâneo. Procurar associar a história da evolução da ciência à trajetória de avanços do método de pesquisa e às condicionantes de investigação de cada etapa de conquista de conhecimento, ajudam a entender que o método é dinâmico, é próprio de cada pesquisador e está impregnado de subjetividade. Por estes motivos, deve-se concebê-lo à luz dos óbices que se colocam ao avanço do conhecimento nas humanidades e com imperativo da cooperação com outras áreas do saber.

Abstract:
The present text aims to suggest that the teaching of Research Methodology in Social Sciences, in the form of a discipline, more commonly offered at the master's level and less at the doctoral level, be reformulated based on the most recent contributions in the field of epistemology, which lead to an apparent replacement of the singularity paradigm by the complexity paradigm. The attempt to adopt the complexity paradigm would help to give more legitimacy and practicability to the discipline, updating it in the face of the contemporary epistemological debate. Trying to associate the history of the evolution of science with the trajectory of advances in the research method and with the investigation conditions of each stage of knowledge conquest, help to understand that the method is dynamic, is unique to each researcher and is permeated with subjectivity. For these reasons, it must be conceived in light of the obstacles to the advancement of knowledge in the humanities and the imperative of cooperation with other areas of knowledge.
