Abstract: In educational contexts there is an urgency in decolonial theories and praxis. From the point of view of advanced scientific production, the creation of networks, research processes and impactful results with theoretical, empirical and epistemological bases circulate and signal new approaches, new subjects and especially new pedagogies. The objective is to describe and analyze the notion of normativity of the current curriculum in the Brazilian education system, highlighting the reproduction of content, knowledge and teaching material with non-critical and dominant approaches, whether regarding issues of gender, binarism and expressions of the capitalist system. As a methodological assumption, an essayistic and descriptive-historical text based on a literature review and feminist-queer studies as a critical instrument.
