QUE VOZ É ESSA QUE FALA POR MIM A LUTA DO INSTITUTO GELEDÉS POR DIGNIDADE, RECONHECIMENTO E REPRESENTAÇÃO DA MULHER NEGRA NO BRASIL
Não se pode negar a existência
do racismo, do machismo e da misógina
enraizados na cultura nacional, pois é certo
que toda sociedade tem sua mentalidade
moldada pelas influências e fatos históricos
aos quais foi submetida durante todo seu
processo de formação e desenvolvimento. Não
se pode negar também que, devido a esses
fatores de opressão social, mulheres negras e,
principalmente, pobres se encontram à margem
da sociedade. Este artigo foi elaborado por meio
de levantamento bibliográfico e propõe uma
breve análise de acontecimentos históricos com
o intuito de demonstrar o modo como mulheres
negras foram tratadas e representadas durante
a história do Brasil e os reflexos dessas
ocorrências nos dias de hoje. A pesquisa tem
como pauta principal as problematizações,
reivindicações e participações políticas e sociais
do portal Geledés, Instituto da Mulher Negra,
além de apresentar dados e estatísticas de
escala nacional que comprovam a disparidade
social e econômica das mulheres negras em
comparação à média do país. Por fim, fica
evidente que a limitada representação política
e social, além das ínfimas políticas públicas
voltadas especificamente para mulheres
negras são os principais agentes causadores
da situação social que deixa essas mulheres
em circunstâncias de marginalização e
vulnerabilidade a quaisquer tipos de violência
por parte da população e do próprio Estado.

Abstract:
There is no denying the existence
of racism, machismo and misogyny rooted
in the national culture, for it is certain that
every society has its mentality shaped by
the historical influences and facts to which it
was subjected throughout its formation and
development process. Nor can it be denied that,
because of these factors of social oppression,
black and, especially, poor women are on the
margins of society. This article was prepared
through a bibliographical survey and proposes
a brief analysis of historical events in order to
demonstrate how black women were treated
and represented during the history of Brazil
and the reflections of these occurrences
nowadays. The research has as main subject
the problematizations, claims and political and social participation of the portal
Geledés, Institute of the Black Woman, besides presenting data and statistics of
national scale that prove the social and economic disparity of the black women in
comparison to the average of the country. Finally, it is evident that the limited political
and social representation, in addition to the small public policies directed specifically
to black women, are the main agents of the social situation that leaves these women
in circumstances of marginalization and vulnerability to any kind of violence by the
population and of the State itself.
